Beaverbrook Cottage is a private and secluded getaway set on a five-acre parcel with towering trees,
wild highbush blueberries, old stone walls, native wildlife and all of the peace and quiet that you
could ever ask for. It is the perfect destination for a romantic weekend, a family vacation,
or as your
personal retreat for rest and renewal.
This recently-renovated two-bedroom cottage, nestled in the Upper Delaware River Valley's Catskills, has everything that you could possibly need to refresh and relax during your stay, whether you choose to come for a weekend, a week or a longer visit during the spring, summer, fall or winter. Beaverbrook Cottage is just ten minutes away from the quaint river hamlet of Narrowsburg, New York, the Eagle Capital of New York State.
Leave all the stresses of the city and schedules behind you as you
drive up the long and winding road
that leads to your woodland accommodations. The sound of bird song is likely to greet you upon your arrival.
Located only a short drive from the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River and Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, you can enjoy a swim in the morning and an outdoor concert that evening without any concerns about the travel time. Just down the road you'll find the Ten Mile River Scout Museum, which is filled with the history and memorabilia of the areas's nearby Boy Scout camps, which cover thousands of undeveloped acres and are still in use today.
With Beaverbrook Cottage as your home base, the choices of activities are almost endless. Perhaps you'll want to go canoeing or fishing in the river, try birdwatching for bald eagles, enjoy treasure hunting in the area's antique shops, follow the map of the Pottery Trail and meet the artisans working in clay, discover the many historic sites nearby, or celebrate with the crowd at a holiday parade in one of the river valley's small towns.
Beaverbrook Cottage provides the backdrop for any activity that you may choose, and especially if you decide to do nothing at all!
