The cottage was gorgeous and had everything that we could need. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer.
Beaverbrook is a slice of heaven. The cottage is perfectly appointed, the setting is private, peaceful and beautiful.
I live in the city, and Beaverbrook Cottage was such a welcome change of pace for the weekend- I woke up to the sounds of birds chirping, walked through the woods, and was close to attractions such as Bethel Woods and downtown Narrowsburg shopping and dining. Highly recommended!
As we tiredly pulled to the end of the driveway and saw the cottage, we all let out a collective sigh to see the loveliness and coziness of this place.
We spent a month at Beaverbrook. It is the perfect escape from the city. Dinners at sunset in the gazebo. Wild blueberries and blackberries. Deer waiting in the woods. Sweet corn. Sweet peaches. S’mores on the fire pit. Hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill. Mary, our host, was available to answer all of our questions, but the cottage is so well stocked and organized, those questions were few and far between. It is a magical place.
It was such a hidden gem!
If you daydream about spending a few days in a wooden cottage surrounded by an old-growth forest, bush blueberries and native wildlife, don’t worry, paradise is just around the corner.
Situated on five acres practically on the shores of Fox Lake, this adorable rental property is secluded but just 10 minutes from Narrowsburg.
We really dug this place. Beautiful area, warm beds, the breeze in the windows. Trying to learn Joni Mitchell on the piano. Mrs. Doubtfire at 1 am. Cookies, bourbon, maple sours. Roaring fire. Walks in the marsh.
My group of five loved the cabin. We went tubing and hiking during the days, and ate in the gazebo and made fires and looked at the stars at night. I would highly recommend staying here!!
Lovely, airy cottage in a remarkably beautiful wooded setting. Lots of room in the main part of the house with a big comfy seating area, sizable bedrooms that are actually bigger than the photos imply, and just a picture perfect spot in the woods.
This place is truly amazing; there is a sound in the silence that changes a person’s soul, for which I am truly grateful. Thank you for the peacefulness and for the chance to remember to stop and smell the roses.
This was the most relaxing and lovely of little cottages. We all enjoyed the atmosphere, ate outside in the screened-in gazebo, grilled, hung hammocks, lit the fire pit and soaked in the serenity. Looking forward to a cold-weather stay when we can make use of the indoor wood-burning stove!
What a blessing to be able to share the sanctuary of Beaverbrook Cottage. This was an amazing opportunity for us to rest, replenish, play and soak in the beauty of the wild. thank you for the extra touches that make our month-long stay so personal and special.
